Nails & foot care

Manicures, extensions, refills and pedicures from the client side.

With nails, satisfaction is decided by one question that should be settled before the appointment: should the result last two weeks or two months? Almost everything else follows from that — a manicure with polish, gel polish and extensions are not three price levels of the same thing but three different techniques with different durability and different removal.

The second point is rhythm. Extended nails grow out with the nail, and the gap between cuticle and material is not a flaw but the reason for the refill every two to four weeks. Push it too far and you end up paying not for a refill but for a new set — and the material tends to lift in the meantime.

The third area is footcare, where an important line blurs: cosmetic footcare beautifies, medical footcare treats. With diabetes, ingrown nails or nail fungus that is not a matter of style. The articles in this section explain what is actually done in each case, how long it lasts, and how to recognise a business that works cleanly.
