Skincare & beauty
Facials, hair removal, lashes, brows and skincare routines.
Beauty treatments are the area with the most promises and the fewest yardsticks. A "facial" can be sixty minutes of cleansing and massage, or a device working into the skin — both go by the same name and do different things. The most useful question before an appointment is therefore not the price but: what is actually done, and what should I expect afterwards?
With hair removal, the time horizon decides. Waxing and sugaring remove for weeks; laser and IPL aim at lasting reduction and need several sessions at fixed intervals, because only hairs in a particular growth phase are reached. Expecting a final result after two appointments measures the method against something it does not claim.
Lashes and brows are the third block, and there the aftercare is part of the service: what happens in the first hours and days co-decides the result. This section explains, per treatment, what actually happens, how often it has to be repeated, and which questions belong beforehand — particularly where devices are used or the skin is already irritated.
